Questions you may ask about our worship...

Why do we clap our hands?
Psalms 47:1 Oh, clap your hands, all you peoples! Shout to God with the voice of triumph!

Why do we lift our hands?
Psalms 134:2 Lift up your hands in the
sanctuary,And bless the LORD. 1 Timothy 2:8 I desire therefore that the men pray everywhere, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting;

Why do we stand when we sing?
Psalms 135:1 Praise the LORD! Praise the name of the LORD; Praise Him, O you servants of the LORD!  You who stand in the house of the LORD, In the courts of the house of our God,  Praise the LORD, for the LORD is good; Sing praises to His name, for it is pleasant.

 Why do people speak in tongues during worship?
I Corinthians 14:14 For if I pray in a tongue, my spirit prays, but my understanding is unfruitful. What is the conclusion then? I will pray with the spirit, and I will also pray with the understanding. I will sing with the spirit, and I will also sing with the understanding. Also verse 39 Therefore, brethern, desire earnestly to proshesy, and do not forbid to speak with tongues.
